About the client (US)
With over 200,000 square feet of manufacturing space across the USA we are equipped to build your next linear drain system. The client stands behind the linear drain products we manufacture with knowledgeable technical support, seasoned personnel, and expert installation advice.
 
Position Overview
The Draftsman is a pivotal member of our engineering and design team, responsible for crafting high-quality shop drawings, generating work orders, and providing technical support. The role demands a high level of technical proficiency, particularly in 2D drafting, with 3D modeling experience preferred. The Draftsman will actively collaborate with various departments to ensure all drawings meet project and manufacturing requirements.
 
Duties & Responsibilities
Advanced Drafting & Design:

• Prepare, revise, and optimize shop drawings to ensure they meet project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Perform complex drafting tasks including layer management, block creation, and intricate detailing.
• Provide guidance on design modifications to improve the efficiency and accuracy of existing product lines.
• Collaborate with engineers to translate conceptual designs into detailed drawings.
• Maintain an organized library of drawings and design data for easy retrieval and revisions.

Work Orders:

• Generate detailed work orders to guide the production team, clarifying specifications and resolving ambiguities.
• Review and update work orders in response to changes in design or materials, ensuring ongoing alignment with production processes.

Technical Support:

• Serve as a technical resource for customers and in-house teams, answering queries related to product dimensions, materials, and other specifications.
• Facilitate open communication channels between the drafting, production, and quality control departments to ensure design integrity.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in 2D drafting software; experience with AutoCAD or IronCad is a must.
• Experience in 3D modeling software is preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in drafting, prefer civil design experience but not required.

Work Schedule (Mid-shift)

• Monday to Friday (4PM-12AM; Manila Time)

Work Setup (WFH)

• Permanent Homebased
• Equipment will be provided by the company
• Hired staff is required to have a stable/reliable internet connection at home with at least 20MBPS for both download and upload speed.
