Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, resolve general queries, and prepare year-end accounts for UK clients.
• Actively participate in client-facing communications, including emails, WhatsApp, and quarterly client meetings.
• Work closely with and support the lead commercial property specialist on a large property client project.
• Handle accounts payable, supplier invoices, and payment preparation.
• Perform bank, balance-sheet, and control-account reconciliations.
• Prepare journals, accruals, prepayments, and month-end accounts.
• Maintain customer, supplier, and tenant ledgers where applicable.
• Support billing, invoicing, and financial reporting.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies independently.

Must-Haves

• Newly qualified professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
• 3 to 5 years of post-qualified experience.
• Confident, highly proficient written and verbal English skills suitable for a direct client-facing role.
• Strong general accounting and bookkeeping experience.
• Hands-on experience with AP, reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments, and month-end processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Comfortable working closely with UK-based clients and internal teams via Slack, Outlook, and WhatsApp.

Nice-to-Haves

• A basic understanding of UK taxes and UK VAT.
• Experience with UK commercial property systems such as Yardi, MRI, TRAMPS, Trace, MOJO, or Qube.
• Commercial property or property-management accounting experience, including knowledge of rent, service-charge, tenant, or client-money accounting.
• Previous experience in an accounting practice or outsourced finance environment.

Work Location

• Home based work set up
• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM UK Time
• Should have strong internet connection (minimum of 20 mbps)
• Should have own Laptop/PC (minimum of i5 8GB RAM)
