The Client We are on an exciting journey as we push the boundaries of SME lending and revolutionise our business with smart technologies. We started our journey 20 years ago with a very traditional approach helping the market with their cashflow requirements.
We have now embarked on a new journey that has seen us embrace the digital revolution and we are wanting to make it even easier for business to obtain the cashflow that they need. Our industry leading greenfield platform, built on the latest design methodologies allows new levels of automation and efficiency for users.
The Role We are looking for talented engineers with a broad range of skills who are interested in creating a fantastic experience for our clients and users. As technology drives our business forward your strong problem-solving skills will be put to the test to help shape the future. Teamwork and collaboration will be key to our success, so open and honest communication is essential. You will be working alongside likeminded Tech and Finance professionals to deliver features from problem definition and analysis right through to deployment and feedback.
Job Responsibilities - Take a leading role in all delivering quality
- Work with the latest frameworks, try new technologies and cross-skill.
- Develop robust, high-quality solutions that meets the expectations of our product development team's standards and procedures ensuring solution meets modern best practices for highly scalable, reliable, maintainable software.
- Work collaboratively with a high performing Agile team, providing honest open feedback to help everyone become the best version of themselves.
- Code review colleagues' work and provide insightful and constructive feedback.
- Work to build a clear picture of the customer's problem to be solved, including interacting with product team to understand their pain points and deliver solutions that solve problems fast.
- Continuous learning and development in the business domain and relevant technologies
- Identify and promote opportunities to extend and enhance the use of new technologies.
- Strive to be lean and agile all the way through. We always start small and grow as we need, which applies to our code as much as it applies to our delivery process.
- Explore new technologies and solutions such as machine learning, statistical financial analysis, adaptive risk modelling, and generative AI for adoption in the business.
Skills and Experience: - Excellent Written and verbal communication.
- Experience with source control management systems and continuous integration / deployment environments
- Communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with people at all levels.
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Experience with Jira/confluence
- Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle
- Use of AI to build tests (claude preferred)
- Strong experience using Playwright
- Using C# to build tests
- NUnit or equivalent testing frameworks
Nice to have: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- Experience in the Financial Services industry would be looked on favourably
- SQL skills
- ISTQB certification
Schedule - Monday -Friday 6AM-3PM PH Time
Work Location - Hybrid - Available locations: Eastwood, Alabang, SM North, Clark or Cebu.
