About the client (AU)
We're a Melbourne based business and commercial law firm with over 40 years combined experience specialising in small business, commercial, construction, insurance and property law.
 
About the Role
 
In this role, the Graduate/Junior Litigation Lawyer will assist across our four main practice areas: commercial litigation, property, construction, and insurance law.
 
Your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Managing litigation files
• Drafting well researched and pursuasive legal documents, including letters of demand, pleadings and affidavits.
• Analysing client documents and instructions to identify key issues
• Communicating with clients to gather information and clarify case detail
• Developing effective time management strategies to balance growing caseload responsibilities and client expectations
• Participating in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.

Work Schedule (Dayshift)

• Monday to Friday 7AM-4PM; Manila Time

Work Setup (WFH)

• Permanent Homebased
• Candidate's are expected to have a conducive (quiet, distraction-free) dedicated workspace
• Equipment will be provided by the company
• Hired staff is required to have a stable and reliable internet connection with at least 20MBPS for both download AND upload speed.
