FMCG Packaging + Retail Branding We are looking for a highly commercial and creative Senior Food Packaging Designer & Brand Strategist who understands retail psychology, shelf impact, and consumer buying behavior — not just aesthetics.
This role is ideal for someone with strong FMCG packaging experience who can create visually compelling, retail-ready packaging systems that drive attention and sales.
Key Responsibilities Packaging & Brand Design - Design retail-ready packaging across frozen, chilled, and ambient categories
- Create and develop new brands, logos, and packaging systems
- Rebrand existing products to strengthen shelf appeal and market positioning
- Build consistent visual systems across multiple SKUs and product ranges
- Create packaging concepts aligned with commercial retail objectives
Retail & Channel Design Design packaging for major retail and distribution channels including:
- Supermarkets
- Bulk retail formats
- Convenience and petrol channels
- Airline catering
Packaging Communication Develop packaging that clearly communicates key functional product benefits such as:
- High protein
- High fibre
- No sugar
- No seed oils
Build strong packaging hierarchy across:
- Brand
- Product
- Benefit
- Flavour
Packaging Production & Execution - Design packaging across various formats including boxes, pouches, sachets, and trays
- Prepare print-ready packaging artwork and files
- Work with dielines, print specifications, and packaging materials
- Understand colour variations and print outcomes across films, cartons, and different substrates
Key Projects Functional frozen meals, pies, quiches, and snacks
- Functional beverages and sachets
- Packaging system development and rebranding projects
Required Skills & Experience - Minimum 5 years of FMCG packaging design experience
- Strong portfolio featuring real retail packaging products
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Strong understanding of:
- Dielines
- Packaging materials
- Print production
- Shelf impact and retail buying psychology
Highly Preferred - Experience designing for supermarket brands
- Experience working with Australian or US retail markets
- Branding and brand strategy experience
- Ability to build complete brand systems across product categories

Work Setup & Schedule - Home-based / Remote work setup
- Day shift schedule: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM PHT
- Sign-on bonus equivalent to 50% of the basic salary
