The Client
A leading health-tech provider of business intelligence solutions, partnering with healthcare organizations for over 20 years to improve productivity, performance, and data accessibility.

The Role
As a Cost Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering advanced costing and business intelligence solutions using CBS’s proprietary software, CostPro. This position offers the opportunity to influence strategic decisions in healthcare, work with cutting-edge technology, and develop expertise in Activity-Based Costing (ABC) and data analytics.

Responsibilities
Activity-Based Costing

• Configure and maintain CostPro for clients, ensuring accurate allocation of costs to activities, patient events, and services.
• Advise clients on best practice costing methodologies and provide recommendations to improve cost transparency and decision-making.
• Perform cost-driver analysis and deliver actionable insights that support pricing, profitability, and operational efficiency.

Business Intelligence

• Develop and maintain data models and interactive dashboards that provide clients with clear visibility into costing at organisational, departmental, service, and patient-event levels.
• Translate complex data into meaningful reports and visualizations that support strategic decision-making.
• Import data from source systems using IntelPlus, CBS’s proprietary data integration tool.

Client Engagement & Communication

• Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience with CBS products and services.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients on costing and business intelligence solutions.

Personal Development

• Continuously develop technical and professional skills, including ABC methodologies, BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and SQL.
• Share knowledge and mentor team members to build internal capability.

Expected Knowledge and Skills

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, or related field.
• Strong understanding of Activity-Based Costing principles and experience applying them in practice.
• Proficiency in CostPro or similar costing software (training provided if required).
• Experience with business intelligence tools, data modeling, and dashboard development.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft SQL and data management techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Work Arrangement

• Hybrid Eastwood office

Work Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 6:00AM – 3:00 PM Manila Time
