Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry & Salesforce CRM Specialist to support our
Business Development team. You will be responsible for accurately managing and inputting
large volumes of data related to target companies into Salesforce, assisting in the evaluation
and ongoing management of acquisition candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and maintain comprehensive records in Salesforce CRM for hundreds to thousands of companies annually, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Extract information primarily from internal sources, and occasionally use the internet fo supplemental data gathering and validation.
- Work with structured data such as company names, primary contacts, revenue, EBITDA, operating partners, and relevant business details.
- Support the Business Development team by providing clean data for due diligence, outreach, and transaction processes.
- Ensure all entries comply with financial terminology and categorization (EBITDA, revenue, margin, etc.).
- Collaborate with colleagues for training and periodic quality reviews.
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of experience in a data entry, CRM, or operations support role, preferably in the financial sector, private equity, accounting, fund administration, hedge fund, or banking.
- Proficient with Salesforce CRM; familiarity with related platforms or products a plus.
- Basic knowledge of financial concepts (EBITDA, margins, revenue).
- Ability to quickly comprehend and apply industry classifications (e.g., logistics, pharma, manufacturing).
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage high-volume workloads.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, following defined processes and quality standards.
