The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and process-driven Workforce Relations (WR) Coordinator to join our People Connections team. This role is the heartbeat of our operational human resources function, serving as the primary point of contact for employees and volunteers throughout their entire journey—from onboarding to offboarding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Coordination: Manage the end-to-end employee and volunteer lifecycle, including the coordination of onboarding, inductions, and offboarding processes. 
  •  Compliance & Systems: Ensure the integrity of HRIS data and maintain essential documentation such as policies, procedures, contracts, and variation letters.
  • Advisory Support: Act as the initial contact for all HR and volunteer inquiries, providing lower-level advisory support on policy interpretation and Awards.
  • Pre-Employment Screening: Execute mandatory background checks including Police Checks, NDIS Worker Screening, WWCC, VEVO, and vaccination requirements.
  • HR Projects & Reporting: Support the WR Manager in rolling out annual initiatives, including WGEA reporting, CPI wage reviews, performance reviews, and worker’s compensation processes.
  • Administration: Process invoices, coordinate fortnightly communications, and assist with ad-hoc HR tasks to support the broader team.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of HR Generalist and recruitment-related experience. 
  • Technical Proficiency: Experienced in the use of human resource management information systems (HRIS) and payroll systems, as well as Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of Fair Work Guidelines, National Employment Standards (NES), and Award interpretation.
  • Communication: High-level verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build trustworthy relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail, highly organized, and a solution-oriented mindset.   
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education: Minimum requirement of a Diploma of Human Resource Management or in a related discipline.

Work Schedule: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM PHT
