CAD Technician

Job Description

Role: CAD Technician

Work set up:
Hybrid setup in Alabang office
1PM-10PM MNL

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality technical drawings of Fire / Smoke Curtains (plans, sections & details) based on drawings
supplied by client and information supplied by survey and make modifications to existing drawings
• Create schematic diagrams required for Fire / Smoke Curtain project
• Provide accurate, detailed and to scale drawings
• Provide drawing register and schedule that aligns with the project requirements
• Liaise with architects, engineers, designers, Project Manager and other relevant individual (via email or Teams
meeting) to understand the design requirements
• Ensure drawings are compliant with industry standards and protocols
• Able to explore, upload and download files to & from collaborative sites/CDE (Asite, V4P, Aconex, etc.)
• Conduct quality checks on completed drawings to identify any errors or discrepancies
• Communicate effectively with team Lead to ensure project deadlines are met

Skills and Experience:

• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
• Highly detail-oriented
• Extensive knowledge in utilising AutoCAD software (At least 5 years experience Preferable)
• Able to read or interpret survey data
• Drawing project ownership
• Experience with different collaborative sites (Asite, V4P, Aconex etc.) (Basic training will be provided if required)
• Able to read or interpret Architectural / Construction drawings (At least 5 years experience Preferable)
• Able to produce Construction and As Built drawings (At least 5 years experience Preferable)
• Knowledge in building Construction materials
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Construction/Manufacturing Design experience
• Technical Drafting Course advantageous
