About the client
Our UK client specializes in the design, manufacture, installation, and servicing of cutting-edge and customized Smoke and Fire Curtains for various buildings
 
We are seeking a BIM Technician as we take on interesting large-scale projects. Working on technically complex and challenging projects within the building industry, BIM Technician will be involved in BIM Modelling as well as collaboration with relevant team.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working on both 2D and 3D CAD environments
• Using 2D and 3D software including AutoCAD and Revit to integrate product designs to Construction plans & models
• Producing accurate BIM models, schedules, Asset & CoBie data / information in line with project requirements and/or BEP in conjunction with other disciplines and sub-contractors
• Understanding the Level of Details/Development requirements and procedures / standards for every project
• Work with CAD and Projects Team to produce BIM models, data and information at various project stage
• BIM coordination and validation
• Conduct Clash detection task using Naviswork
• Collaborating with clients, engineers, architects and other sub-contractors / trades involved on the project
• To upload or link BIM models and information to Common Data Environment (CDE)
• Ability to work independently and manage timescales against project plans
• Supporting CAD team to extract DWGs from BIM models
• Provide awareness of Quality & Environment Policies to personnel working on sites and to comply with the company's procedures and policies.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience of building structures and a knowledge of steel, concrete, timber and load bearing masonry structures.
• Working knowledge of current British Standards
• Working knowledge of the current BIM ISO 19650
• Working Knowledge of quality and document management processes
• Revit, AutoCAD & Naviswork
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Excellent organisation, analytical and teamworking skills.
• COBie & Asset knowledge and understanding

Attributes

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit & Naviswork
• Construction/Manufacturing Design experience
• HNC/D advantageous
• BIM Practitioner

Work Schedule (Mid-shift)

• Monday to Friday (1PM-10PM; Manila Time)

Work Setup (Hybrid - 10 office visits/month)

• SM North
• Equipment will be provided by the company
• Hired staff is required to have a stable and reliable internet connection with at least 20MBPS for both download AND upload speed.
