Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
Junior HR Administrator / HR Assistant to support our Human Resources team with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks. This role is ideal for someone with 1-3 years of HR or administrative experience who is organized, dependable, and comfortable handling confidential information.
The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting HR processes, maintaining accurate records, assisting with payroll-related activities, and providing general administrative support to the broader HR function.
Key ResponsibilitiesHR Support
- Provide administrative support to the HR team across various employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee record management.
- Maintain and update employee files, HR databases, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with preparing employment contracts, letters, and other HR-related documents.
- Coordinate interviews, meetings, and HR-related appointments.
Meeting Note-Taking
- Attend HR meetings and take clear, accurate, and timely notes.
- Prepare meeting summaries, action items, and follow-up documentation.
- Ensure confidential information is handled appropriately.
Payroll Support
- Assist in collecting and validating payroll data such as timesheets, leave records, and employee changes.
- Coordinate with payroll providers or internal finance teams to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Respond to basic employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits.
General HR Administration
Qualifications - 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources, Payroll Administration, or a related administrative role.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
