Summary We are seeking a seasoned and self-directed Intermediate to Advanced Flutter Developer to design, build, and maintain high-performance, cross-platform Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI). The ideal candidate has approximately 5 years of professional software development experience, demonstrates strong code quality practices, and has deep expertise in the Flutter/Dart ecosystem, particularly for real-time data visualization and industrial user experiences.
This is a fully remote role requiring the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within an Agile team environment.
Key Responsibilities - HMI Development & Architecture (Flutter/Dart)
Design, develop, and maintain complex HMI applications using Flutter and Dart, including ownership of features and full application modules. - Real-Time Data Integration
Build performant solutions for integrating real-time data streams from IoT devices, industrial controllers, and REST/WebSocket APIs with minimal latency. - State Management & Application Flow
Architect and implement scalable state management solutions (e.g., Bloc, Riverpod, Provider) to support complex HMI workflows and data flows. - Code Quality & Best Practices
Write clean, well-documented, and testable code. Participate in and lead peer code reviews while enforcing coding standards and best practices. - Agile Collaboration
Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos. - Testing & Quality Assurance
Implement automated testing strategies, including unit, widget, and integration tests, to ensure application stability across platforms. - Performance Optimization
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and UI issues to deliver smooth and responsive HMI experiences. - Remote & Independent Work
Take ownership of tasks from concept through deployment, managing time effectively and communicating progress clearly in an asynchronous remote setting.
Required Skills & Qualifications - Experience
Approximately 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on Flutter/Dart. - Flutter & Dart Expertise
Advanced proficiency in Flutter and Dart, including deep understanding of the Flutter widget lifecycle and rendering engine. - HMI / UI Development
Proven ability to translate complex UI/UX designs and industrial workflows into responsive, pixel-perfect user interfaces. - Networking & Data Handling
Strong experience with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and/or gRPC for backend and industrial system communication. - Architecture & Design Patterns
Solid understanding of application architecture patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture. - Version Control
Expert-level experience using Git, including branching and collaborative workflows. - Remote Collaboration Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated success working independently in remote teams.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Qualifications - Experience with native or low-level integrations (e.g., Rust, Go, C++) using Flutter Method Channels.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated Flutter builds and deployments.
- Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, or healthcare environments, particularly building HMIs, dashboards, or control systems.
Work Arrangement Work Schedule - Tuesday–Saturday, 1am- 10am PHT
