Role Overview
 
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented QA Tester to join our Technology team. The QA Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our web applications, internal systems, and client-facing platforms. This role will help us maintain a high standard of quality in every release, enhancing user satisfaction for both internal users and customers.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing on web applications, APIs, and backend systems.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using the bug tracking system, ensuring clear steps to reproduce and severity levels.
• Work collaboratively with developers, product owners, and business analysts to clarify requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of the Agile development process.
• Validate bug fixes and ensure proper resolution before deployment.
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases and test results.
• Help define and implement test automation strategies and scripts where applicable.
• Monitor product releases and assist in post-release validation.
• Provide timely and concise reporting on quality metrics and issues to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role (manual testing, quality assurance).
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Bugzilla).
• Familiarity with web technologies, APIs, and databases.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Experience in Agile or Scrum environments preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
• Knowledge of performance and security testing tools.
• Background in financial services, SaaS platforms, or automotive/lease industry systems.
• Understanding of user-experience (UX) best practices

Work Arrangement

• Home-based ; Should have strong internet connection (minimum of 20 mbps)

Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 8:30am-6:30pm
