The Role We are seeking a talented and driven
Full-Stack Developer to join our growing team and continue to make. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and other engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of internal teams and business customers. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is passionate about creating clean, efficient, and scalable code and is excited to take on new challenges in an ever-growing landscape.

Responsibilities: Deliver Solutions - Build out the vision of various stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner.

- Maintain compliance with relevant industry and government standards.
Maintenance and Optimisation - Troubleshoot and debug issues.
- Improve application performance.
- Maintain existing codebases to ensure reliability and scalability.
Knowledge and Support - Provide support and share technical expertise with the wider business.
- Empower non-technical teams and foster shared product understanding.
Innovation - Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Continuously improve development processes and product offerings.
Skills & Experience: Proven Experience - Demonstrated experience as a Full-Stack Developer or in a similar role.
Agile Methodology - Ability to work effectively in an agile environment.
- Deliver solutions aligned with defined project scope.
Front-End Proficiency - Strong knowledge of:
- HTML
- CSS / Tailwind
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- Specific focus on Vue.js
Back-End Proficiency - Solid experience with:
- PHP (Laravel framework)
- GoLang
Database Skills - Proficiency working with MySQL
Security - Strong understanding of application security best practices.
- Ability to write secure code to protect sensitive data.
Version Control Problem-Solving - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
Communication - Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
AI Code Development - Familiarity with AI code development tools and techniques.
- Ability to leverage AI tools to increase feature-to-launch speed and maintain industry-leading pace.
Nice to have: API Design - Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Ability to structure services for maintainability and integration.
DevOps / CI/CD - Familiarity with DevOps principles.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly Bitbucket.
- Understanding automation in software delivery.
Cloud Platforms - Experience with AWS and Terraform.
- Understanding infrastructure as code.
- Ability to assist in building scalable and resilient cloud applications.
Testing - Familiarity with:
- PHPUnit
- Cypress (or similar tools)
- Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
UI/UX - Fundamental understanding of UI/UX principles.
- Ability to think from a user perspective and contribute to intuitive design.
Compliance - Understanding of industry and government regulations.
- Awareness of data privacy standards to maintain compliance.
Initial Project Focus The first project will involve:
- Managing the company website.
- Working with Storyblok (headless CMS).
- API integrations.
- Rebuilding the website based on uplifted branding and refreshed content.
Work Schedule - Monday to Friday 6am to 3pm
