Job Description

We are looking for a confident and commercially minded Google Ads / PPC Specialist to support the growth of our paid search department. You will work closely with the Head of Paid Search to manage and optimize a portfolio of primarily B2B accounts. Initially, you will take ownership of smaller B2B accounts, with a clear opportunity to progress into more complex, higher spend and strategically demanding campaigns as the department expands. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands performance marketing beyond simply launching campaigns. The focus will be on improving lead quality, reducing cost per acquisition and scaling accounts in a structured and sustainable way. Search will be the core focus, with exposure to Shopping, Display, Performance Max, Demand Gen and Video where appropriate.
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Managing and optimising a portfolio of Google Ads accounts
  • Deploying and scaling Search campaigns
  • Managing Shopping and Display campaigns
  • Supporting Performance Max, Demand Gen and Video campaigns where relevant
  • Ongoing keyword refinement and search term analysis
  • Improving lead quality and reducing cost per acquisition
  • Monitoring performance trends and making data-led decisions
  • Writing and testing new ad copy variations
  • Assisting with reporting and performance insights
  • Joining client video calls when required
  • Collaborating with the Head of Paid Search on strategy and account growth
  
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Strong experience with Google Ads, particularly Search
  • Experience managing B2B campaigns
  • Confident using Google Tag Manager
  • Strong understanding of GA4
  • Experience with Google Merchant Centre
  • Experience setting up and troubleshooting conversion tracking
  • Ability to build and manage audience lists
  • Strong written English and ability to write compelling ad copy
  • Confident in contributing to optimisation decisions and account strategy
  • Comfortable analysing data and translating it into clear actions
