Role Summary We are seeking a highly talented and creative Video Editor who is not only technically skilled but also an exceptional storyteller. The ideal candidate brings both speed and precision, working efficiently without sacrificing quality. You should have strong instincts for crafting compelling narratives from interviews and b-roll, understand pacing intuitively, and consistently deliver polished, professional work.
You must be able to work with deadlines, stay organized, communicate clearly, and collaborate smoothly throughout the editing process.
What you'll do 
  • Edit high-quality promotional videos (typically 1-6 minutes) for schools, camps, non-profits, and businesses ● Build strong narrative structures using interviews, documentary-style footage, and b-roll ● Edit long-form content interviews when needed ● Create short-form social media cutdowns ● Sync audio, assemble rough cuts, refine pacing, and craft polished final edits ● Apply color grading to achieve a clean, cinematic look ● Add tasteful text treatments, lower thirds, and graphics ● Export and deliver multiple aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16, 1:1) ● Maintain organized project files and media ● Communicate effectively via WhatsApp and email ● Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment ● Review the portfolio to ensure stylistic alignment
You're a Great Fit If You 
  • At least 2 years of professional editing experience (skill and storytelling ability matter more than years alone) ● A portfolio demonstrating narrative instincts and cinematic quality ● Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro (two or more is an advantage) ● Strong English communication skills ● Ability to color grade and handle basic design/text graphics ● Fast and efficient workflow ● Strong time management and organizational skills ● Must work on an Apple MacBook (MacOS) ● Ability to take feedback constructively and iterate quickly ● Familiarity with deadline-driven post-production environments
Work Setting: 
  • Location: Colombia
  • Job Type: Remote
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday,  9am - 6pm EST
  • Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)

About Our Client
Our client is a boutique video production company based in the Tri-State area. They create high-end promotional videos for private schools, summer camps, non-profits, and businesses (many of our clients are Jewish institutions and organizations, but not all). Our core work consists of polished, story-driven promotional videos ranging from 1-6 minutes, with occasional shorter or longer deliverables depending on client needs.
