Job Description

We are looking for support in an administrative capacity, processing documents, compiling medical records, entering and noting information, and collaborating in support of our paralegal/attorney team

Responsibilities: 
  • Compile exemplar Explanation of Benefits as proofs of medical provider usual, customary, and reasonable rates
  • Summarize compiled Explanations of Benefits in a table for inclusion in legal documents
  • Analyze and apply procedural standards in reviewing EOB’s
  • Redacting information from EOB’s to store them as exemplars
  • Maintaining our exemplar EOB database and updating with new documents
Qualifications:
  • Experience in a medical office, medical billing company, or health insurance company is preferred
  • Knowledge and familiarity with medical billing, procedure codes, and reviewing explanations of benefits is strongly preferred
  • Independent thinking in this role is strongly valued, as is the ability to collaborate and seek guidance when needed
  • Someone with an analytical nature, motivated by task completion and a grounded demeanor will excel in this role
  • Must be extremely communicative and be able to integrate as a member of the team, as they will personally interact with our 3 paralegals and 3 attorneys, in addition to other support personnel, regularly and our desire is to acquire a true additional team member, regardless of the remote-work arrangement. Video availability in meetings, when they occur via zoom is mandatory to this end

Additional Information: 
  • Permanent homebased arrangement 
  • Monday to Friday, 9pm to 6am Manila Time
