Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and technically knowledgeable Internal Technical Sales Representative to join our team remotely. You will play a key role in supporting our sales team by managing customer inquiries, providing product recommendations, and ensuring excellent pre- and post-sales support - all from a remote working environment.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, well-organized, and has a strong technical background combined with a customer-focused mindset. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are confident working independently while staying connected with our broader team via digital tools.
Key Responsibilities: - Respond to inbound sales inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
- Provide technical product information, specifications, and solutions to customers and sales partners.
- Collaborate closely with the external sales team to develop proposals and quotations tailored to client needs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product lines, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
- Identify customer requirements and suggest suitable product solutions.
- Track customer interactions and opportunities in CRM systems (e.g., NetSuite).
- Process and follow up on sales orders and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with warehouse, logistics, and other internal teams as needed.
- Attend regular virtual check-ins, team meetings, and training sessions.
Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in technical sales, inside sales, or customer service with an electrical/electronic product or solution.
- Strong understanding of technical products relevant to the industry (e.g., electrical components, automation equipment, motors...).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - especially via email, phone, and video conferencing. Exceptional spoken English is essential for effective customer interaction and team collaboration.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Additional Skills and Experience: - Experience in B2B sales or supporting field sales teams.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Previous experience in a remote or hybrid working environment.
Education: - A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Instrumentation, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Trade qualifications or significant hands-on industry experience with technical products may be considered in lieu of formal education.
