JOB SUMMARY: This position will play a dual role in managing our employee health benefits, including HMO administration and utilization, while also serving as an on-site nurse.
This person will be responsible for ensuring that our health benefits programs are efficiently managed and cost-effective, as well as providing health services to our employees to promote wellness and address medical concerns.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Benefits Administration: - Manages and administers health benefits programs (e.g., HMO, medical insurance).
- Negotiates with HMO providers to secure optimal rates and services.
- Monitors and manages the utilization of health benefits to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Responds to employee inquiries regarding health benefits and coverage.
- Assist with benefits enrollment and ongoing support for staff.
Occupational Health: - Provides basic healthcare services to employees, including first aid, health screenings, and wellness checkups.
- Offers medical support and guidance for any workplace health issues.
- Administers vaccinations, treatments, and health interventions as needed.
- Promotes health and wellness initiatives within the company.
Compliance and Reporting: - Ensures all health benefits and medical practices comply with local health regulations and company policies.
- Monitors and track health benefits utilization, preparing reports and analyses to prevent overspend and ensure effective distribution.
- Liaises with HR and finance teams to manage costs related to healthcare programs and ensure transparency in utilization.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education: - Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent nursing qualification.
Experience: - Experience in benefits management, HR, or a similar administrative role.
- Previous experience in an occupational health or corporate nursing role.
- Experience negotiating with health providers or HMOs.
Skills & Competencies: - Strong understanding of health insurance plans, particularly HMO schemes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Schedule:
- 10AM to 7PM or can be flexible 1PM to 10PM
