Job Description:

As a Website Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to function and according to a client's specifications. You will strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with clients or internal stakeholders to understand website requirements and objectives.
2. Design and develop websites using appropriate coding languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
3. Ensure website functionality across various browsers and devices, including desktops, tablets, and mobile phones.
4. Implement responsive design principles to enhance user experience and accessibility.
5. Incorporate multimedia elements such as images, videos, and animations into websites.
6. Optimize website performance for speed and efficiency.
7. Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and fix any issues or bugs.
8. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
9. Collaborate with graphic designers, UI/UX designers, and other team members to ensure cohesive website design and functionality.
10. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing websites, including updates and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
2. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and other relevant programming languages.
3. Experience with web development frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus.
4. Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
5. Knowledge of web development tools and technologies, including content management systems (CMS) like WordPress or Drupal.
6. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
7. SEO experience is a plus.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
9. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
10. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
11. Portfolio of past web development projects demonstrating technical skills and creativity.

Work set-up: Homebased
Work schedule: M - F, 9PM - 6AM
