The Client
The company provides global corporate verification services, offering software products and personnel for customer and employee onboarding, probity, and due diligence monitoring. They integrate technology and human expertise to deliver turnkey solutions for compliance, productivity, and risk management. Established in 2006, they offer both outsourced verification services and scalable software for large enterprises.

The Role
We are seeking a skilled and QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understand of testing methodologies, and experience working in Agile environments. You will be responsible for designing and implementing testing strategies, ensuring the quality of complex software systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Test Strategy & Test Planning: 

• Develop and Execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure quality and functionality.
• Define and maintain testing processes, standards, and guidelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans.
• Monitor and optimize test strategies for continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
• Ensure testing environments are set up, maintained, and controlled for effective test execution

Manual and Automated Testing:

• Perform manual and automated testing.
• Identify, document, and track bugs, and ensure that development teams resolve them effectively.
• Develop and maintain regression test suites
• Collaborate & Communication:
• Work closely with development, and product management teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Actively participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives within the Agile framework.
• Provide clear and concise reporting on testing progress, results, and quality metrics.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify areas of process improvements and contribute to the continuous enhancement of the testing process.
• Stay up to date with the latest QA tools, techniques, and methodologies.

Requirements:
Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Proficient in testing APIs, and cloud-based web applications.

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience in one or more programming/scripting languages.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems.
• Experience with defect tracking tools.
• Experience with root cause analysis

Methodologies:

• Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience in Agile-driven projects.
• Ability to perform both functional and non-functional testing (performance, security, scalability and regression).

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Team player with a strong focus on collaboration and the ability to work independently.

Work Schedule:   

•   Monday- Friday 6am-3pm PH time PH Time

Work Location:     

• Homebased; must have strong internet connection.
• Equipment is provided
