We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with a minimum of 3+ years of expertise in DevOps, SRE, or a related field. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of critical systems and infrastructure while working collaboratively across development, operations, UX, design, and business units.
Key Responsibilities: Deploy, configure, and maintain Ansible Core, Ansible Tower, and Ansible Automation Platform 2 for automation and infrastructure management.
Work with cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP, ensuring efficient cloud operations and optimizations.
Utilize Ansible extensively for configuration management and infrastructure automation; experience with Terraform is a plus.
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and GitHub CI/CD tools.
Write, maintain, and optimize scripts using PowerShell, Bash, and Batch files for automation and operational efficiency.
Perform system administration tasks on both RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) and Windows environments, including VMware and ESXi infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, UX, design, and business units, to drive efficiency and innovation.
Troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues across multiple platforms and domains.
Recommend architecture improvements and process enhancements to drive operational excellence.
Implement and maintain security best practices to ensure critical system security.
Lead system integration projects as the technical lead, ensuring smooth deployment and integration.
Work closely with customers to capture, document, and analyze requirements to deliver tailored solutions.
Provide clear and concise documentation and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Maintain relevant industry accreditations and stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices.
REQUIRED SKILLS: - 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE or an equivalent field.
- Experience with Ansible Core and Ansible Tower and Ansible Automation Platform 2
- Experience on one or more cloud platform AWS, GCP
- An expert in code deployment tools Ansible – some terraform would be an advantage
- Experience working with Gitlab, Github CI/CD tools and pipelines
- Strong experience coding and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Batch files, etc.)
- Experience with RHEL and Windows System Administration, Vmware, ESXi
- A history of collaboration with development, operations, UX, design and business units within an organization.
- System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains
- Suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements
- Ensuring critical system security using best in class security solutions
- Experience leading system integration projects as the technical lead
- Experience working with customers to capture/document requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. ·
