The Client
Aa digital marketing agency, with over 25 years of establishment. Based in Stourbridge, West Midlands, we operate from a modern office and offer a broad range of services. This includes the design and development of eCommerce and Advertorial websites, as well as digital marketing and design services.

The Role
As a WordPress Administrator/Developer, your main role will be to build and maintain WordPress environments; complete monthly plugin maintenance on WordPress CMS, for essential security and ‘bug’ fixes; and utilise and improve plugin/component library.
You will also work closely with clients and support internal staff with any WordPress based technical issues, providing training and support on CMS systems as needed.

Skills Required:
  • 5 years’ development experience – either freelance or agency-based.
  • Have a strong understanding of Beaver Builder with (and be able to provide examples of previous work)
  • A strong understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, jQuery and MySQL databases.
  • Be able to manage your own time effectively and manage and be able to work on multiple project (and provide updates with progress as required).
  • Be able to build Beaver Builder applications using “module” settings, to allow on-going editing by non-technical clients/staff members.
  • Good knowledge of WooCommerce ecommerce development; including customisation to extend functionality and knowledge of WP ALL Import would be useful.
  • Good knowledge of responsive web development and best practises.
  • Good knowledge of web standards and cross-compatibility.
  • Ability to quickly identify and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication skills.
  
Desirable experience or knowledge of:
  • Additional page builders; Elementor, WP Bakery, DIVI-Builder etc..
  • Additional web/e-commerce platforms.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices.
  • Understanding of UX best practices.
Work Schedule:  
  • Monday to Friday 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM Philippine Time

  • Homebased; must have stable internet and equipment at home
