Position Overview Seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal Assistant to support our legal operations in a primarily asynchronous, remote work environment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the efficiency and precision of our legal practice by managing administrative and case management tasks through Clio and other firm systems. While this position does not involve direct client communication, it requires a high level of discretion, independence, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities: - Maintain and update client matters in Clio, including:
- Case stages
- Task tracking
- Document management
- Internal communications
- Receive and properly name and organize educational records and student files from school districts.
- Generate legal documents from templates and ensure timely updates.
- Assist with timely filing and uploading of legal and administrative documents.
- Maintain and update a list of service providers and external resources used by the firm.
- Coordinate task management and deadlines in collaboration with the managing attorney.
- Support other operational and administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
- Minimum of 1–2 years experience working in a small law firm or legal support role.
- Strong proficiency with Clio (or similar case management software), Microsoft 365, and Google Drive.
- Experience with project or case management tools is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment with minimal supervision.
- Commitment to maintaining a highly efficient and well-organized work environment.
Work Schedule (Nightshift - US Client) - Tuesday to Saturday (1AM-9AM; Manila Time)
Work Setup (WFH) - Permanent Homebased
- Equipment will be provided by Outsourced
- Candidates are expected to have a stable/reliable internet connection at home with at least 20MBPS for BOTH download AND upload speed.
